Covid-19 update: During these challenging times the safety, health and well-being of my clients is an absolute priority. With this in mind, for the time being counselling sessions will be conducted online, unless we agree that meeting in person is preferable. Further details about online work are here. Please get in touch to discuss how this can work for you.

Milburn House is a Grade II listed building in Newcastle’s city centre. It offers a comfortable, welcoming environment a few minutes’ walk from Newcastle Central Station and Metro. There is disabled access during normal office hours.  The entrance is next to the Glass House bar.

The nearest car park is Dean Street, which is on the opposite side of the street.

One-to-one counselling sessions last for 60 minutes. The fee is £45 per session. There may be times when we agree to have a 90-minute session, which would cost £65.

Couple’s counselling sessions are for 70 minutes. The fee is £60.

My usual availability for sessions is from 10.30am to 7.00pm (starting times) Tuesday to Thursday, with morning sessions on a Friday. Saturday appointments are also available, particularly for couple’s work.

Due to the nature of the work, all appointments are by prior arrangement.

Independent Counselling: David Simon. Newcastle upon Tyne

From the Dean Street entrance to Milburn House, go along the corridor and through the double doors to the central reception. Please sign in when you arrive for your appointment (first name only required) and I shall come down to meet you.

Outside of normal office hours, we will make alternative arrangements.

Please note that counselling sessions begin and end promptly at the agreed time.
